About Lexsy

Lexsy is an AI law firm building predictive legal intelligence—agentic systems that monitor a company’s data, propose legal actions, and then execute them with lawyer-in-the-loop review.

We already power high-growth startups (including companies now worth $500M+). We are now scaling to a multi-agent platform: workflow-specific agents, validation agents, supervisor agents, and real-time triggers across Slack, data rooms, HR, cap tables, and financial stacks.

This role owns the technical architecture that makes this system possible.

THE ROLE

You will be Lexsy’s Staff Engineer and a foundational technical leader.

Your mandate:

1. Solve problems

We want you to have discretion on the best ways to solve technical problems. You should be able to answer the following questions for any problem we ask you to solve:

• What approach would be best?
• What technologies should we use?
• What considerations should we make?
• How many engineers should we allocate?
• How much time should we allocate?

Your answers to these questions, of course, should be based on your depth of technical knowledge, experiences from previous roles, and your critical thinking skills.

2. Have discretion

There is a diverse problem set that AI solves best. There is also a diverse problem set that’s better solved by non-AI tools.
