Who We Are

Lexsy is the legal intelligence system for high-growth startups — a self-updating legal dashboard, cap table, data room, and agentic workflow platform built to run the entire company lifecycle from formation to exit.

We're building the first platform that combines a system of record with a system of action — where AI agents do the heavy lifting and a real startup lawyer reviews and stamps every output.

The founding thesis: 90% of startups are running their legal on a duct-tape stack of spreadsheets, Google Drive, ChatGPT, and email. It leads to missed 83(b) elections, unassigned IP, governance gaps, and blown due diligence. We're replacing that entirely.

The traction is real. Since launching in November 2025 we've raised a $350K angel round, hired four full-time engineers, hit $200K+ ARR on 100% subscriptions, and are serving companies backed by YC, a16z, General Catalyst, Lightspeed, GV, and Scale VP. Our first law firm partner is Silicon Legal Strategy, and top Big Law firms are in active pipeline conversations.

We move fast, default to automation, and use AI agents daily. If you're a tech-forward lawyer who believes startup law is ripe for disruption and wants to help build what replaces it — this is that seat.

The Role

This is a hybrid Legal + Product role — and one of the most important hires we'll make.

You will act as outside general counsel for a roster of high-growth startups while simultaneously serving as the subject matter expert for our engineering team. You will be one of the first lawyers shaping what startup law looks like when software replaces billable hours.

You're joining at the ground floor. The decisions you make, the playbooks you write, and the clients you serve will define what Lexsy becomes. This is not a seat at an established table — it's a chance to build the table.
