Lexsy is an AI law firm building predictive legal intelligence—agentic systems that monitor a company’s data, propose legal actions, and then execute them with lawyer-in-the-loop review.

We already power high-growth startups (including companies now worth $500M+). We are scaling a multi-agent platform: workflow agents, validation agents, supervisor agents, and real-time triggers across Slack, data rooms, HR systems, cap tables, and financial stacks.

This is one of the earliest engineering roles in the company (engineer #3 or 4).

THE ROLE

As a Software Engineer at Lexsy, you will build core product features end-to-end and work closely with engineering leadership, product, and legal experts.

Your mandate:

1. Build and ship AI-powered workflows

• Develop UI + backend flows for formation, equity, diligence, hiring, and other legal workflows
• Implement agentic patterns, tool-calling, and retrieval
• Integrate Slack, Carta, HRIS, data rooms, and other third-party systems

2. Make strong technical decisions

• Understand where AI should be used—and where it shouldn’t
• Apply prompt engineering, agents, and data extraction patterns
• Build simple, clear abstractions that scale

3. Ship fast with high quality

• Rapid prototyping
• Tight iteration with product and lawyers
• High communication clarity
